I love exploring colourful markets and old bazaars I love exploring colourful markets and old bazaars. The other day we went to Dilli Haat, which is like a small vibrant village. We loved walking around and checking out variety of stalls representing different states of India selling regional food, handicrafts, spices, pashminas, colourful cushions, fabrics, souvenirs and much more. This place has such a fun vibe which makes it a perfect place to chill with your friends and family. It was so good that I’d love to go there again to try food from other stalls as well! This time we tried Nagaland’s momos and Thukpa and they were heavenly!😍 I’ve also uploaded a YouTube video of our visit to Dilli Haat, check out the link in bio for what to shop, eat and do there. Do you enjoy such markets and have you been to Dilli Haat? If not, save it in your must visit places whenever you come to Delhi.

So, I made a list of not so famous monuments and went to check them out. I’m glad we visited as they were incredibly stunning, wrapped up in secrets, culture and history. At the doorstep of mystery engulfed in history.📍Agra Fort This fort is a world UNESCO heritage site, was initially a military fort but later became the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. We loved roaming around the sandstone pillars, marble palaces and had such an amazing time. But you know what, not everybody had a great time here as this fort became a prison for Shah Jahan in his later years as his tyrant son had put him under house arrest in this fort. Aurangzeb imprisoned his father in the fort’s tower, which has views of the Taj Mahal. It is said that, he spent his last days on the tower’s balcony staring hopelessly at the Taj Mahal he’d built for his beloved Mumtaz.
