10 Must Try Eats- Toronto & Beyond

What makes a meal unforgettable?

Well, for me, it’s never just the flavours. It’s the atmosphere, the energy and the experience it creates. And Toronto does it so beautifully every single time.

These are some of the places I’ve loved, revisited and would recommend without a second thought.

Blu Ristorante

What a classy and luxe restaurant.
I loved their outdoor seating and sitting under the beautiful blue sky felt so beautiful.
I really liked the lamb, octopus, burrata and ravioli, everything was well done. The tiramisu was divine, devoured it in no time. It’s a place where everything feels calm and a bit slow in a good way. You don’t feel rushed at all. It’s more of a sit, talk, enjoy-your-food kind of place.

FIGO Toronto

The CN Tower views make this place such a vibe. I absolutely enjoyed the Pollo Piccante, Diavola pizza and the Negroni flight, such a pretty place for a relaxed evening. The view kind of carries the whole mood, especially around sunset.

CKTL & Co.

Such a fun concept with the stock-exchange theme. The whole space is actually really interesting, they’ve built the entire idea around stocks and you literally see stock prices and charts displayed on screens, which makes it feel very interactive and different from a usual restaurant. It’s the kind of detail you keep noticing while you’re sitting there.
The lamb chops, wings, pasta and cheesecake were all amazingly good!

Aanch

Loved the pani puri here and the rogan josh was so amazing. The meen moilee with that blue pea rice really stood out and the colour alone was so vibrant. The chai cheesecake was something new and certainly the highlight for me, pretty and delicious!

The Blackshop Restaurant

The pan-seared Atlantic salmon was fresh and so delicious, the lamb rack juicy and full of flavours. The cheesecake with Amarula coffee was such a nice twist to end on. We also had a Malbec, and it went really well with everything.

Taline

Loved their minimalist and Pinteresty decor. Tried the fattoush, kibbeh nayeh, tuna tartare, hummus and baba ghanoush. Everything was fresh, well balanced and full of flavour. Rooted in Armenian home-style cooking, the menu reads like a gentle ode to their mum.

Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine

If you’re in the mood for something rich and deeply comforting, this place is honestly a standout. The pide, Ali Nazik, lamb chops and trilece with tea, everything was just divine. The flavours felt so authentic, perfectly spiced and incredibly satisfying. The kind of meal you keep thinking about after.

Christina’s on the Danforth

This place has such a warm and happy vibe, like the kind you can feel the moment you walk in. The patio was packed, the restaurant buzzing, with that constant hum of conversations, clinking cutlery and the most incredible aromas in the air. With live music and belly dancing, it felt like more than just dinner, it was a full Mediterranean experience. Loved the saganaki, grilled meats, seafood and baklava, everything rich, flavourful and comforting.

Republik Asian Eatery & Bar

We ordered a mix of things, sushi, tom yum, shrimp butter yaki, crabmeat saladand everything was just so good. The patio is really beautiful and the indoor seating is just as nice too. If you’re in the mood for Asian cuisine, this is definitely a spot worth going to.

Lobby Bar

This place is so chic, calm. The interiors are utterly gorgeous and have so much personality. I’m still thinking about the Gucci wallpaper, it just gives the whole space so much character.

We ordered cocktails, teriyaki salmon, shrimp skewers, matcha crème brûlée and everything was incredibly delicious and so pretty to look at. I’d happily go back here.

These are the kind of places I’d recommend without second guessing. If you’re exploring Toronto, GTA or beyond then this is all you need for a perfectly curated dining experience.

Now all that’s left is to dress up a little, step out and make a moment out of every meal. Order that extra dessert, sip that cocktail a little slower and don’t forget to take it all in. Because I believe that good food isn’t just eaten, it’s experienced.

Every place I’ve been to has left a mark on my heart. Warm, welcoming and full of good vibes and that’s what makes any restaurant special.

Alright, keep enjoying life, eating good food and dreaming about your next vacation.

Until then,
Glam Adventuress
